Monday
Today the students will receive the Grade 10 research paper assignment. We will discuss all of the requirements and got to the library for our first book source. For homework tonight, you must read your book source, record the bibliography information, and take notes.
Tuesday
Today you will go to the library to find at least two more reliable sources on your research topic. You will have some class time to read them and take notes. However, most of your actually researching will be done at home this week. Tomorrow you must show me the four quality sources you have selected for your research.
Wednesday
Today is our last class period in the school library. Use the time wisely. You must show me the notes from all the research you have done on Friday. Bring all of your research materials to class tomorrow.
Thursday and Friday
You will develop a main focus for your paper. I will meet with each student individually to provide feedback. Then you will continue your research in class. Be prepared to organize you ideas and your details and create an outline on Monday.
